Nissan Repair: 1995 Q 45.., dimmer switch, steering wheel

Sorry but did not see a infiniti forum. I have a 1995 q45 and all of the sudden when I turn my lights on the are turn on in with the brights always on. when i move my left column level to chick to the lower beams, it does not work. Any ideas, bad relay etc.

I would say the dimmer switch was bad as I have seen this before.  It is the lever you are moving on the left side of the column.  It activates a switch that is inside the column.  You have to take the plastic off the column to get to the switch but the nice part is the steering wheel does not have to come off.
