Nissan Repair: Spark plug replacement on 2000 Nissan 6 cyl engine, wd 40, double platinum

Question
how do you get at all the plugs? what has to be removed to accomplish this task?

Answer
The plastic cover on the front valve cover and nothing on the back.  To get to the plugs you will need a 10 millimeter socket and extension as the coils are held on by a 10 millimeter bolt.  unplug the coil, one at a time, and pull them up and out.  The plug is below in the hole.  Change the plugs when the engine is cold and before removing the plugs give the hole a spritz on WD-40 to help get the plug out.  Remember the heads are aluminum and you do not want to strip the sparkplug holes.  Buy the factory plugs or Autolight double platinum.  Do not use Bosch plugs as they seem to run rough...
