Nissan Repair: 97 nissan sentra thermostat, nissan sentra, rubber gasket

I'm trying to change the thermostat on a 97 nissan sentra from a low temp to a higher temp (from 160 to 180). needing a little help finding the thermostat on it. any other advice you've got would be greatly appreciated. thanks so much for your time

Find the big hose that comes out of the top of the radiator and follow it to the engine and that is where the thermostat is located.  My advice is to be sure to get a factory thermostat and rubber gasket as it makes installation much easier.  I have done it both ways and the factory one is easier to install.
