Nissan Repair: warning lights, nissan 200sx, 1995 nissan 200sx

both the brake light and battery light are on in the dash ,the brake is not on, fluif level is ok. the battery charge is ok. its a 1995 nissan 200sx 2.0 this problem accured after i changed the alternator. i have changed alt. before so am confident that i followed the correct prochure.

It probably is an individaul wire that runs to the battery.  You should have 2 individual wires that run to the battery power side along with power cable. There should be a white one that runs into it.  This white one needs to be CUT and SPLICED.  

Then just put it back together.
