Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Buick Century front power windows dont work., motor connectors, failure point

Question
The back windows on my 1995 Century work fine. (Should be the same through 1998.) The front ones do not. It's not the motors, I tested them with a battery charger. What happens is when the switches are pushed (up or down) there's power to the motor connectors but the other pin is not grounded as it should be. The driver's switch for the passenger door sends power to the passenger door motor.

Where's the failure point in the ground side of the circuit?

Answer
Hi
The motors are grounded by the left front window switch (master switch)
The grounding is done internal the switch. All the switch does is send voltage through one of the 2 circuits (wires) going to the motor for direction ONLY.
If there is no grounding, the Drivers door switch is MOST likely your fault.
I hope this helps
Good Luck
