Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Buick Century 96 anti lock alarm, dashboard lights, buick century

Question
Well I drove my car and it ran fine, but on the way home the anti-lock brake light came on.  When I turned off the car and restarted it the light went away.  Today I drove my car maybe two miles and it came on as soon as I started moving.  The brakes work fine, yet the light has come on twice.  My battery cable has been loose before but in that instance all of my dashboard lights appeared such as the parking brake and anti lock light.  What should I be looking for?  Thanks

Answer
Hi.
I would advice taking it to a repair shop and having the ABS (Anti Lock Brake system) scanned for codes.
There are just too many items that could allow thwe light to come on.
MOST shops will preform a scan for free, or at a discounted price. You may also try Autozone, or another national parts chain for this also. They usually have the ability to scan for codes.
I Hope this helps
Good Luck
