Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Key stuck in ignition, olds bravada, key stuck in ignition

I have a 1998 olds.Bravada Smarttrax. And one day the key just never came out. It's draining my battery every night.Due to the odometer and battery warning light staying on.This is not a cold weather thing.

There are 2 items it could be,
Either teh BTSI (Brake Transmission Shift Interlock).
It is a small solonoid that "clicks" when you step on brake to remove vehicle from park.
The second (and most likely) would be the Park Lock Cable, which runs from the shifter to the Ignition key switch.
If it is mis adjusted it will DEFINATLY cause this problem.
I have replaced more than one cable for this IDETNTICAL concern.
