Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue, oldsmobile intrigue, heater core

I need to replace the heater core in a 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue.  It is a V6 3.8 with air.  Do I have to tear the dash out or is this accesible from under the hood.  Also any idea where to get a manual for this.  All the ones we have seen are not specific to this model and are very generic.  Thanks

I looked at the GM manual for this vehicle.
According to the manual, all you do is remove the center console, the left and reight IP insulators and you should have access to the heater core case.
I cannot verify this, as I cannot remember if I ever replaced a core on one of these vehicles.
I would say be prepared for the entire dash removal.
I can look up labor in AM and I should be able to tell by that.
