Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1995 cutlass supreme, cutlass supreme, purple wire

maybe youve heard of this problem with cutlasses..

The car will turn not over but the electrical will work, but wont start, replaced ignition switch, key, starter, and the guts of the ignition still does the same thing, the car will start however if a screw driver is used on the starter, but the starter was tested as working im stuck between a rock and a hard place and any advice or direction would be appreciated

check to see if power is getting to the starter solonoid on the purple wire when key is in crank position.
If so it IS your starter.
If not you'll need to trace that purple wire from the ignition switch to starter.
I have no schematics for 95 models, so thats about all I can help
