Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Olds Aurora 1998, olds aurora, proper distance

Olds Aurora 1998 - The air conditioner blows cold air on the passenger side by hot on drivers side.  I moved the blower dial to different levels and finally cold air comes out but not as cold as the passenger side.

I would check 2 things
1) freon charge level. Too low of charge COULD cause a problem similar to this.
2) The Drivers side temp door actuator. If it is sticking or not traveling it's proper distance, it too can cause this problem.
