Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1995 regency 98, anchor bolts, mount nuts

Question
QUESTION: How do you replace rear struts, kind that are air adjustable? Appears only 2 bottom bolts/nuts, and 1 nut on top is what keeps it in place.  Any tricks, secrets?

ANSWER: hi
there are 2 bolts on top.
you'll also probabally need to swap the upper strut mount and put them on the new struts.
here is the AllData procedure for struts

Raise and support vehicle.
Remove rear seat cushion and seat back to gain access to strut tower mounting nuts.
Remove tire and wheel assembly.
Disconnect air tube from strut, Fig. 3.
Support lower control arm with suitable jack stand.
Remove two strut tower mount nuts.
Remove two strut anchor bolts, washers and nuts from knuckle, then the knuckle bracket.
Remove strut from vehicle.
Reverse procedure to install.

I hope this helps.
Good luck

QUESTION: Do you have to remove the seat or is there access via the trunk?  If you have to remove the seat, what's the process for removing it?

Answer
Hi
According to procedure listed the rear seat DOES have to be removed.
I DO not have the exact procedure for removing seat, but usually you push the seat bottom toward the rear, and pull up at the same time.
The rear seat back usually bolts in.
I hope this helps
Good Luck
