Hi, Good morning.
I am recently having this error message on my  dash board. It keeps coming on and off. Is is a major repair? Or something I can correct myself with your guidance?

There are many reasons for that message. Something as simple as a loose gas cap, a rich or lean exhaust reading, a vacuum leak, a wire unplugged, etc.
The first thing that needs to be done is read the stored codes, then look up the possible causes for that code, then go from there.
Autozone, as well as several other large parts companies, will connect a scan tool, and read the codes for free.
