Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 96 Buick Century, bump in the road, fusible links

Question
Beginning a few weeks ago, each time I hit a bump in the road my brake light (Traction warning) would light up and my headlights would flicker. Now suddenly no lights of any kind will turn on, save the blinkers. My radio works and the car starts just fine. I've check all the fuses and the bulbs. Would appreciate any advice/direction possible.

Answer
There are some fusible links, which ar like fuses built into the wire.
Usually they are on the battery cable terminal of the starter.
make sure the cable is bolted on tight, and check those links.
They just look like a piece of wire spliced in.

Sometimes they can burn open inside the sheath, so see if one of them bends real easily in a spot.
