Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Achieva Wouldnt Start, oil pressure switch, mass airflow sensor

Question
I have a 97 Achieva LS.  The oil pressure switch leaked. It sprayed oil over the whole left side of my engin.  I changed the oil switch. After I changed the switch my engin would not start. The solinoid would click but nothing more would happen.  I change the started but this did nothing.

Answer
Hi Robert,
Just the oil spraying on the side of the engine wouldn't hurt anything, including the starter.
But if a bunch was drawn into the air intake, it could have coated the Mass Airflow Sensor, and caused it to not read correctly.

Here is a good link about cleaning them.
It is a Ford link, but well written, and they do the same thing.
