Question
I was driving my car tonight and it just all of a sudden it just died. I have lights and a radio, I am assuming that the battery doesn't appear to be the problem. The car acts like it wants to start but never actually turns over.  I am very limited with knolwede when it comes to cars. The most that I can do is change brake pads. If you caould possibly give me an idea what the rpblem might be I would appreciate it. I haven't had any problems prior to this evening. I have only had the car for about 2 months. I bought it from my boss. I hope I have given you enough information if not let me know and I will try to answer your questions.

First check for spark.
If there is spark, listen to see if the fuel pump is operating. It is inside the tank, and should hummmm for about two seconds when the key is turned from off to run....not to crank, just to run.

If there is spark, and the fuel pump is running, I would test the fuel pressure, and possibly replace the filter.
