Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1993 Buick LaSabre - problem with voltage indicator, buick lasabre, voltage side

About a month ago, while at a stop i felt my car lurch, the "Anti-brake Light" went on and the "Service Engine Soon" light also came on and the voltage light came on showing on the low-voltage side. After driving for awhile the lights all went back to normal. Sometimes the voltage goes all the way to the red on the high-voltage side and the car feels like it doesn't want to go (sort of like it's have way stuck in neutral). The problem usually goes away after driving the car for awhile. Any help would be appreciated.

You have a bad alt it is over chargeing and should be changed with a new or a rebult the reg in the alt. is bad
This is common when they start going bad .
