Hey van, I pulled off the panel and the metal behind the door panel and noticed the window looked like it was on track could it be a link down by the motor or something because when I put it all back together the window still rolled up crooked and made that funny noise.

Ouch Joel,
You have reached the limit of my experience inside those doors.
I just pull the panel off like you did, and look around. Hopefully something jumps out and is easy to see.
There are so many different types of mechanisms over the years, I can't keep up.
The main thing I would like to get across, is there is no rocket science in the cars. If you have the desire, you can do anything the mechanics at the dealership can do. They were probably as confused as you are, when they looked inside their first door.
You might find a body expert, but I'm not sure.

Some windows are rolled up by cables.
