Question3.8l v6 cyl #6 misfires. other 5 fire ok. have installed new plug & wires. Have exchanged fuel injector from a firing cyl to #6 and inj. #6 to another cyl..it works in that cyl.Have changed coils and ignition control mod . still #6 misfires. It appears that #6 injector is not getting signal to operate. Is there a fuel injector in the pcm or what?

I am happy to see that you got your car running. A little feedback now and then from people that have succeeded in fixing their problem is the only thanks we get. We are not paid, and don't even have the luxury of seeing or hearing the vehicle. We are asked to diagnose problems from a distance, often with very little, or incomplete information.
You, for example, even checked the compression,(but failed to mention it), yet when I suggested that as a possibility, you rated me pretty low in knowledge.
