where is the turn signal flasher or relay switch on a 1993 buick lesabre

I quote...

"The hazzard flasher is located in the convenience center under the dash.
The turn signal flasher is installed in a clamp attached to the base of the steering column support inside the car."

That is word for word from a Haynes manual for that car.
The purpose for the clamp, or actually a little clip, is to transmit the noise of it clicking, so the driver can hear it.
Look under the edge of the dash, just about in front of the drivers knees.
