Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1993 BUICK LESABRE IDLE PROBLEM, mass air sensor, buick lesabre

Question
"I have a 93 buick lesabre and it drives fine seems to have power when driving
but when i stop at a light after a few seconds it feels like its missfiring the
rpm gauge drops and before it stalls it picks right up again it hasn't stalled
yet but? i put new plugs and wires still the same can you please  suggest what i
could check for next it has a 3800 motor and no codes come on"

Pete suggested I changed the idle air sensor but the car has an idle control valve or a mass air sensor.  Which one would need to be changed?  Thank you for any help you can give me with this.

Answer
Clean out your throttle plate area with a spray cleaner such as carb cleaner. remember to open the throttle all the way to clean the bottom side of the throttle valve.

Also locate the IAC valve port holeopening in the throttle body and clean in there also.
