Recently my Bravada began to shift funny. And I cannot get the ignition key out of the ignition. From time to time this problem will go away. It will shift perectly and the key will remove. But for the most part I cannot remove the key and the truck will remain in 3rd gear.   You can manually shift through the gears.

Sounds like you have a failing ignition switch,its not giving the proper amount of voltage at times to your transmission shift solenoids and BTSI{brake trans shift interloc}thats why you have no 1-2 shift or it will remain in 3rd gear {known as 3rd gear start}also your BTSI will not disengage causing the ign key to remain locked in the on position,i would replace the ign switch.if you need more help let me know.Thanks
