I have a transmission that the shifting cable is broke and it is stuck in Drive. How do I manually shift it to move it?

You'll need to manually shift it at the transmission lever,look below the master cyl and at the transmission you'll see the cable going to a lever,release the retainer from the cable by prying the cable up at the retainer,then you can move the lever manually.
