Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Defogger wont defog, oldsmobile achieva, pep boys

Question
I have a 1995 Oldsmobile Achieva (two-door). The rear defogger
isn't working, and hasn't since January. At the same time this
started, my AM radio reception became pretty poor.

All this trouble began after a trip to Vegas, when we loaded our
luggage into the trunk. I initially assumed we had just torn a
wire or two, or maybe accidentally disconnected a connector,
but there is no indication that that is the case.

I asked my local mechanic to look into it. The defogger isn't
damaged in any way, and he wasn't able to fully trace the wiring
from the defogger to the dash. The fuse is fine and the switch
light comes on, so those aren't the problem.

While at Pep Boys, a local auto parts chain, I checked a repair
manual for my Achieva, but it had no specifics on the wiring
path for the defogger, so I'm hoping someone can help me out
with that.

I'd like to know the physical route the defogger wires take from
the dash to the rear window. If it's something I can (relatively)
easily get at by moving a few plastic panels or something, that'd
be a big help.

Thanks
