Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 91 Park Avenue goes bump bump bump, front wheel bearings, cv joints

Question
As soon as I start going down the road my front end goes bump bump bump. Took it to the repair shop, they said it was a broken stabilizer link. We changed both of those but it is still doing it. The faster I go, the faster the sound. You can also seeit slightly, and feel it in the steering wheel and on your feet. If I put tension on the wheel (either left or right) it stops. It does not stop with braking, but almost stops with some forceful acceleration.

(it is ok to post this on the board, I could not find the place to ok that)

Answer
Hi Diana,
Have you checked the condition of the tires for flat spots, and checked for bent wheels.
You could rotate the rear tires to the front just to check that.
If the problem remains in the front, wheel bearings are a possibility.
Another remote possibility is CV joints if that car is front wheel drive.
