Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 93 buick misfires in overdrive, chevy lovers, spark plugs

I have a 93 Buick 3.8 V6 Lesabre that misfires or vibrates when car is running in overdrive and you give it gas. This is the only time it runs bad and does not do it everytime. 130,000 miles Changed spark plugs and air filter. Had no other problems. Not sure if its Motor or Transmission

I had the same symptoms on a 95 Olds.

Now, that may NOT be what your problem is, but it sure sounds possible.
