Question
I have a 1989 oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme We have replace the alternator battery, batttery termials wiring to the alternator and to the ground but it will still not hold a charge we are on our 3rd battery and our 3rd alternator any ideas on where it the car is drawing from and draining the battery only able to get about 15 miles then need a jump start then good to go for another 15 miles ( it has a brand new motor 1 yr old and only about 16 thousand miles on it) no problems till now!

I wonder if during the engine swap they connected a wire to something wrong.
Also, any aftermarket alarm systems or stereos can drain batteries.

Have you gone out to the car in the dark and looked for lights on? Look before touching any door handles. Look at the radio, and the ignition switch area to see if they have lights on.
You can also open the glove compartment, and the trunk...one at a time, and very quickly reach in and feel the light bulb. If it is hot, that may be the problem area.
