Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 92 olds 88 dies # of times, vacuum leaks, liter v6 engine

Question
I have a 1992 Olds royale 88,,, it started dying on me mainly when i was under 1/4 tank of gas, at stop signs or when i would slow down to turn.  Then it started dying while i was driving down the road. Sometimes it took a 5-30 minutes for it to start again.   Now, it is dying under a 1/2 a tank the same way.  When i am driving down the street, it will die, and i shift to neutral and then start it back up,, only to have it die numerous times again.  When over a 1/2 a tank,, it doesn't die as much,, but it still will do it enough to scare me when i am driving the car.  please help.  3800 liter, v6 engine

Answer
Hi Melissa,
I would run some injector cleaner through the fuel tank.
Also, clean the idle air control valve, and the EGR valve, and make sure there are no vacuum leaks.
Check the brake booster for vacuum leak also, since you have the brakes on when it is dying.
