Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1986 Olds. Delta 88 3.0 engine, pulley puller, delta 88

How can I remove the harmonic balancer. I want to check timing chain. Also what size socket do I need to remove nut from crankshaft.            Thanks: James

Hi James,
Normally...not always, but normally, a balancer pulley puller is required. Some parts houses will loan you that tool if you buy parts from them.
The socket may be metric, and I don't know the size. Somewhere around 5/8 inch.
While you are in there is a good time to replace the front seal.
