Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: power windows, windos, circuit breaker

one of my windos on my 1983 olds regency 98 has stop working. it occansionally stop but after a few seconds would respond and role up and down but know it wont do anything, What could possibly be the problem and what can i do to help this. thanks

Hi James,
That is pretty much the symptoms of a motor that needs replacing.
There is a self resetting circuit breaker inside each motor, that trips at the end of travel.
It is not repairable, and just does what yours is doing when they wear out.
You can replace the motor yourself if you have a drill, and are handy with tools.
