Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 96 olds pass. window, jumper wires, circuit breaker

 My 96 olds driver side pass. window once down doesn't come up. I have yet to check wiring, but due to previous issue with front pass. window the motor needed to be replaced. Should I just get a new motor and try or check my wires?

Hello Casey,
That is pretty much the symptoms of a motor that needs replacing.
There is a self resetting circuit breaker inside each motor, that trips at the end of travel.
It is not repairable, and just does what yours is doing when they wear out.
You can replace the motor yourself if you have a drill, and are handy with tools.
Of course, I would check to see that power and ground is being switched to the motor, and check the old motor with jumper wires to be sure it isn't a switch or connection.
