Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1985 Buick Code 22, throttle position sensor, tps sensor

Hi

I have a 1985 Buick LeSabre.. The check engine light is on and I retrieved a CODE 22 from the Computer - 22   Throttle Position Sensor (Signal Voltage Low)  
I had my mechanic replace the TPS but I still have this code..

You do NOT have much of a mechanic if he can't FIRST diagnose the problem BEFORE throwing on an expensive part.

He has to test for  voltage references to and from the computer as well as ADJUST the TPS sensor ans CLEAR the code from the computer.
