i have a 88 olds cutlass ciera 2.8 v6 runs fine in park stalls out while moving in gear and any sort of load on motor and will not start again for a few hours. but will not stall while in gear, foot on the break and foot on gas, fuel pressure tested at 35 psi while parked, fuel injectors have signal. has strong spark. replaced ecm, prom, & fuel filter. please help

OK, If you look near the drivers headlight area where the transmission bolts to the engine you will see a square 3 or 4 wire electrical connector that is plugged into the transmission. UNPLUG this electrical connector from the transmission and see if this resolves your problem.

it has already been unplugged, i also had a matco tools scantool hooked up and it shows a problem with the knock sensor when it stalls, but shows everything is fine while it is running. i tried unplugging the knock sensor, but it still stalls
