Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 98 Olds Achieva No Power, olds achieva, electrical portion

Question
Went to start my car today and had no power. No lights, chimes, nothing, and now the key is stuck in the ignition. tried a jump and no luck. Any suggestions

If the key is PHYSICALLY STUCK in the ignition switch and you can't turn it to remove it this would be a clue as to a most probable fault with the electrical portion of the ignition switch located under the dash mounted on the steering colimn whereas it would need to be replaced.

You may have to disassemble a portion of the steering column in order to get the key out and this requires special tools.
