1997 Buick Lesabre, Horn has always been sensitive to a slight push to blow. Now when the car is left in the sun, the horn blows itself. Dealer says I must replace the entire assembly including the air bag. Approximately $800 installed. Is this the only option?

I don't see why you would have to replace the AIR BAG unless the horn button and some other controls are incorporated onto the air bag itself.

E-mail me a picture of the air bag and the steering column controls so I can see where the horn button is.
