Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: NEED TO KNOW WHERE CANISTER IS?, vacuum hoses, cutlas

I SENT YOU AN E-MAIL  BEFORE ABOUT A 1996 CUTLAS WITH A 3.1 AND I USED ONE OF THOSE PLUG IN COMPUTERS AND THE CODE WAS P1441 AND YOU SAID, THE FUEL VAPOR CANISTER PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID IS EITHER DEFECTIVE OR THERE IS A WIRING PROBLEM, WELL CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE THIS CANISTER IS LOCATED? I CANT SEEM TO FIND IT? THANK YOU.

Answer
It is usually located up under the front fender of the vehicle. Look near the headlights for 2 or 3 vacuum hoses going into the fender from the engine compartment. You usually have to crawl under the vehicle and look UP towards the front of the fender.
