Hello---I am the proud owner and daily driver of an Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, 1992, with the 3.1 Liter V-6 engine. One owner and oil changed regularly throughout. It now has 226,000 miles and counting !! My question is, what can I do , for example an additive, to help preserve this high mileage engine? Any measures to take to ease the engine ware and so forth? Mystery oil or STP added, for example? Please let me know what you think. It still runs very well but I notice of course some tiredness of late.

Sounds like you have been doing exactly what it needs.
If anything, just increase the frequency of the oil changes. but just keep doing them.

I don't use any additives in my fleet, and they just get run hard.
My personal vehicles don't get run as hard, but no additives there either. Just regular oil and filter changes.
Keep a clean air filter on also.
There may be additives that would help last longer, but I really don't know.
