I have a 1991 OLDS Cutlass, 3.3 V6 motor, auto transmission and A/C. The car has 55,000 miles.
My problem is the car stalls out once the motor has been running for more than 10 minutes. It starts back up but stalls out a minute or less later. When car is cold the car starts right up with no problem. But will run for no more than 10 minutes or less and then stalls right out.
Answer -
I need more detailed information. When it stalls out does it start right back up and run OK or what ?.?.

When it stalls it starts right back up. It will run for another 5 or 10 minutes and then it stalls out again. After two or three times doing this the car will not start back up. The motor turns over but will not start. When the car cools down an hour or two later the car will start back up but will only run maybe another 10 minutes and stall out again.

Answer
Next time it won't start check to see if your getting (ignition)spark to the spark plugs while cranking the engine and let me know.

ALSO:

What mechanical work or ANY kind of work has been performed on the vehicle recently ?. As most problems that occur after a recent repair was made can be traced back to the area of where the repair was made as a vacuum line may have been knocked loose or a wire connection came loose, Look around in the area where work was performed..
