Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: front brake rotor removal, buick riveria, early monday morning

Question
Thank you for taking my question
Vehicle involved 1991 Buick Riveria
after ignoring the wife's complaint for several days of the above vehicle right front wheel making a "funny grinding noise"  I finally pull the right front wheel and find that the inboard pad was metal to metal and the the rotor badly scored at the top. Being the vehicle has well over a hundred thousand on I decide to just replace the rotor also. BUT late Saturday evening I was totally unable to remove the recessed hold down nut on the rotor.Due to the fact she had to use the vehicle early Monday morning I just put the new brake pads on the old damaged rotor.
Question #1---Do i just need to buy a deepwell socket to fit the recessed hold down nut on the rotor?
Question #2--If i am able to remove the hold down nut do i need to rent a "puller" to remove the rotor?
Question #3--It appears the wheel studs are a part of the rotor ---I assume i should buy new studs for the new rotor?
Question #4---I am also assuming that i should also discard the "old" new front brake pads that was on the damaged rotor and start out with new ones on the new rotor?
Thank you very much for any help you can give me--I really appreciate it very much!!
