The FIRST thing you need to do is determine IF the fuel pump is working.

When you first turn the ignition key to the ON position ONLY, Do NOT crank the engine, You should be able to hear the fuel pump run for just TWO (2) seconds at the gas tank. DOES IT ?.

Although EXTREMLY DANGEROUS, You could pour a small amount of gas in the intake manifold and see if the engine will try and run for a second or two. DOES IT ?.

Did you check ALL the spark plug wires for ignition to the spark plugs ?. Check them ALL, NOT just ONE. DO THEY HAVE IGNITION ?.

Before we can go any further, You need to determine if your problem is FUEL or IGNITION to the spark plugs.

let me know.

autohelp  Tom, TY for your response.I shot a quick shot of starting fluid into intake several times while motor was cranking, nothing happened.with key in on position fuel pump does hum for 2 seconds.I removed a sprark plug and put my finger over the hole while the motor was cranked but did not smell fuel on my finger? Also I just noticed when the key is in acc. position nothing works that should. The dash is dark.? Thanks again Tom .... Gary
Answer -
OK, If you do NOT have anything working in the ACC position this would most likely indicate a problem with the electrical portion of the IGNITION SWITCH which is mounted on the side of the steering column under the dash.

It is possible that the bolts that hold the switch to the proper adjustment may have came loose and now the switch is miss-adjusted.

Does everything else work in the ON position of the ignition switch ?. Radio, heater, dash indicators, turn signal indicators, etc, etc ?.

Has ANYONE performed ANY work on the vehicle recently ?. Especially UNDER the dash ?.

You WILL NOT get any FUEL spray if you have no ignition.

Are you getting any spark to the spark plugs ?.

FOLLOWUP: The ONLY thing that works when the key is in the ACC position is the RADIO ONLY.

autohelp  Thx again for your quick response Tom,I did put a new Harmonic balancer on the car about 4 months ago. While I was taking the old one off I damaged the magnetic pick-up switch to the crankshaft sensor so I had to replace that too. I did all the work myself. The rubber on the old balancer came completely apart. The car has 140,000 mi.on it.I have fouled 2 different spark plugs since I changed the balancer but otherwise it ran fine.THE ACC. SWITCH NOT WORKING MAY JUST BE A COINCIDENCE.Everything else works with the key on.I have also hopscotched the 6 relays on the firewall with a new one but it didn't help either.Sorry to keep bothering you but I am going crazy with this one , Thank you very much for your time and brainpower.  G

Answer
Are you ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that you did not bend the crankshaft pulley when you replaced the balancer ?.

Are you ABSOLUTELY POSITIVE that you set the crankshaft AIR GAP to .025" (.625mm).

You may want to remove the crank shaft sensor and inspect it for any signs of where it may have been rubbing against the crank shaft pulley as this would indicate either an improper air gap setting and or a bent crank shaft pulley.

You do realize that the crankshaft pulley and balancer are replaced as a unit and you do NOT EVER seperate the pulley from the balancer hub.

I can research thru my vast library of factory service manuals and provide you with a detailed set of test procedures to perform for your no start problem.
