Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: pinging, vacuum leaks, delta 88

i have 84 olds delta 88 that after it warms up and driving on the highway it pings like it has bad gas.where do i start looking?

Hi Tim,
Check for vacuum leaks, and then check the timing.
Make sure the cooling system is working properly. Check inside the radiator if you can see down in there, to see if the tubes are getting clogged with deposits, causing some overheating.
