It turns over fine but will not start. I'm hoping it's something inexpensive.

90 buick century 3.3L V6 with difficulty starting. We replaced the ign coils, hoping that would fix the problem. It tries to start and does a 1/2 crank, but doesn't turn over. It's getting fuel and we get a spark. I've replaced so many parts on this thing. What could it possibly be now?

hi crystal, you say half crank,do you mean the engine will not spin over when you turn key.or it turns over fine but will not start? need to know this write back i will put your question first for that day,on subject write 2nd question ty billymac

Answer
hi crystal sorry but busy work schedule has kept me away ,sorry so long in reply.ok here is what you have to do first take spark plugs out are they soaked with gas? if yes replaceall spark plugs or put them on a flame and burn all gas off them and reinstall..if car starts just fouled out from excessive fuel.if no .check all fuses in car .even if a fuse say,s nothing about engine it can still be tied into puter.i really believe new plugs will fix this problem let me know  billymac
