Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: Oldsmobile keeps dying out, egr valve, oldsmobile 88

3800 V6 1995 Oldsmobile 88 Royale dies out.Had a diagnostic test run and it showed a bad egr valve.Had it replaced less then a week ago but it is still dying out.Check engine light comes on every so often.The car has less then 62,000 miles and except for this problem runs good .Really would appreciate your help.

hi ray,this really sounds like a iac mtr or idle air control.that is if it is dying while idleing,but if dyeing going down the road then not this.i would look really hard for broken or disconnected vac lines.possibly a fuel filter problem.hope this helps some please vote for me billymac
