Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: electrical, cutlass supreme, battery cables

Car is beginning to stall while driving. charge gauge is bouncing to negative charge but has new battery. when lights are turned on, gauge goes back to normal position in center but still not as high as need be. what could be the possible problem? alternator test and battery have been been normal output.type of car is 1994 cutlass supreme. has had recent tune up and new solenoids installed.

That sounds like a loose connection.
Since the solenoid has been recently changed, if it wasn't doing that before the change, that is where I would look first. Then the battery cables, then all the other connectors you can wiggle.
