Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: engine misfire, engine misfire, 6 cylinders

Question
1985 Buick Somerset Regal, 3.0l V6, #5 &6 cylinders missing. Have good compression, can hear the injectors clicking, have spark but cylinders aren"t working. I can disconnect the injectors on these 2 cyl without any change in idle speed. Any pointers as to where to look?

Answer
hi gerry, i would have to assume the eng is running bad like it has a miss.because if it was running good and you pulled these two off there would be a very small drop in rpm.but if the eng is running bad.you can hear the injectors clicking .and you have spark the only thing that is not working is the cyl is not burning the fuel.so either bad wire or spark plug or no compression.did you test compression in these cyls with tester?remove plug wire put plug on the end see if you have fire.if yes wire ok remove spark plug hook to plug wire crank do you have fire if yes plug ok.retest compression..good luck hope this helps please rate my help billymac
