Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 98 Lesabre Custom, crank sensor, driveing

Question
I just bought this lesabre car with a 3800. It runs great but it has not wanted to start a couple of times. I'll have to crank it 5 or 6 times. Today it died on me as I slowed to a stop. No bucking, clattering nothing...started right back up.I want to say it almost felt like a belt slipped or something(sounds crazy) I am wondering if maybe since it belonged to an older gentleman  I should take it out on a back road and blow the cobbs out. Any help you have would be awesome!

Answer
hi jessica, well it is possible that this car is loaded up with carbon due to city driveing or a slow driver.and maybe a good run on the expressway wouldn,t hurt it.but really sounds like a fuel prob possibly fuel filter .when you start again when eng is cold .try this{turn key on key off five times and then crank if starts right up weak pump or pressure regulator if no help possibly electrical } module or crank sensor..hope this helps.please vote for me billymac
