Hi!!  Just found this site... very cool!  The fan is not blowing warm air.  When I start the car and touch
the heat square (is it called digital?) the light goes on.  After 30 seconds or so the light starts flashing.  I assume that the flashing light "means" something, but couldn't find any mention of it in the woner's manual.  Thank you!  Lori

HI LORI ,LOVE THOSE RIVIES I HAVE HAD A COUPLE.WELL I AM NOT SURE IF THE FAN IS COMEING ON AND NOT BLOWING OR NOT COMEING ON AT ALL.IF IT IS NOT COMEING ON AT ALL THEN POSSIBLY BAD HEATER MTR OR BAD FUSE CHECK ALL THE FUSES EVEN ONE THAT HAS NOTHING TO DO DIRECTLY WITH HEAT MAY CONTROL PART OF THE HEATER.POSSIBLY A BCM BODY CONTROL MODULE,THIS CONTROLS THE ELECTRONICS OF YOUR BODY.IF THIS FAILS ANYTHING CAN MALFUNTION.TRY AND DISCONNECT THE NEGATIVE BATT CABLE FOR 3 MINS AND MAYBE COMPUTER WILL RESET ITSELF.GOOD LUCK LORI LET ME KNOW IF I CAN HELP FURTHER PLEASE VOTE FOR ME THANK YOU BILLYMAC

Thanks, the blower blows though has never been very strong, has always taken a long time to heat or cool the car.  Then again it has 225K miles on it, it's probably tired!  We'd already checked all the fuses and they look fine.  We've picked up a thermostat which you didn't mention.  If that doesn't work what do you think we should try next?

Answer
ok lori, now the info is pouring in.i didn,t mention that because unsure if motor was working.but yes definately try that.if no avail then have cooling system flushed .pressure flush.make sure the hoses are equally hot comeing into the firewall .if both hot core is ok if one hot one warm restriction flush .if it can,t be flushed out and you cannot get both hoses 185 degrees core will need replaced ty billymac
