Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1998 chevy blazer 4.3L..., high pressure hose, chevy blazer

Question
Hi,
I have a brake line leak and a fuel line leak and they seem to be related. I located a spot just in front of the left rear wheel, where it seemed to be the source. Most like the center of the 4x4 on the left side. Since the lines are on top of the rail, there isn't much room to even see where the source is from peering under the side. It looks to me like the gas tank may need to be dropped in order to find the problem, which is probably above it somewhere. Do you think this is necessary for me to get to the lines easier? Or should I be able to get to them from the outside of the rail without doing a real big removal that I don't relish doing? The fuel line can be spliced with high pressure hose, but the brake line needs replacing. Is there a connector by the rear wheel and going up to the master cylinder? Or is there a point somewhere in between where I can replace that section? Any help you can give me would be great. I'm feeling overwhelmed by just thinking about how to fix this! Thanks.
