Question
Hello, I have a 1989 88 olds rolyal with a 3800 with 160k and when it is cold out when I go to start the car, it turns over fast but dosent fire and when it is warm out the car seems to start fine? I have put in a new battery, new plugs, fuel filter and it still does the same thing? any idea?

Thanks

Answer
hi todd, well the cold is hard on all parts but mostly fuel pumps and sensors.so the next time you try and start it cold .try this turn key on key off for 3 second intervals.three times.if car starts easier then you have a weak pump or a bad fuel pressure regulator.hope this helps ty billymac please rate my help
