Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1992 buick 3.3, top notch, problem thanks

I have a 1992 buick cent. 3.3 the heads lights and when i am runing the heater they will did and go bright and the blower will dog down to and remain ok then do it a again have had the alt rebult by a top notch shop . and they also replaced the reg that is what i thoat it was . can you help me find this problem . thanks for your help pete

hi pete,well really sounds like a reg problem,i would try a new alt because what is happening is your alt is not meeting the demand that the car has.which means the peak alt current is low..or another possibility is the heater motor is pulling more amps then it should this is common.these are the normal solutions .hope this helps please rate my help ty billymac
