Oldsmobile/Buick Repair: 1990 buick lesabre coil pack question, buick lesabre, coil pack

Question
i was just reading the question about the coil pack and the ignition module and i just replaced both of those on my car and after it gets hot it and you cut it off it will not start until the car cools off.  i have a relay that is unplugged that makes the heater and the air and the fan run.  i have to plug it back in to use my heater or air conditioning or to make my fan motor run. could this have anything to do with the problem of it not starting?  if i leave the relay plugged in it makes my battery go dead.  it has a 3.8 engine in it.

Answer
hi trish ,yes it could effect the car on cold or warm starts.the temp sensor runs through this relay also.and this sensor tells the computer to give more or less fuel depending on the temp i would have that relay and the temp sensor replaced good luck billymac
